Josh Roberts (1-1) pitched the entire rain-shortened game for the Crushers to earn the win. Robby Kuzdale and Patrick Norris each had two hits.

After the series with Rockford (2-2) ends Thursday, the Crushers return to Avon for their home opener at 7:05 p.m. Friday against the Joliet Slammers at . A fireworks show will follow the game. Tickets are still available for all opening weekend games.
