Crushers Win Over Normal

Hits were plentiful in 12-8 victory

The scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth to snap a tie game and beat the Normal Cornbelters, 12-8, Tuesday night at .

The win put the Crushers at 5-5 while the Cornbelters (4-6) suffered their fourth straight loss.

Andrew Davis went 3-for-5 with four RBI, including a two-run homer, for the Crushers. Kellen Kulbacki went 3-for-4 and scored twice. Ruben Flores (2-0) got the win in relief, allowing no runs and a hit over one and two-thirds innings.

The teams play at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday. Today is School Day at All Pro Freight Stadium, with students from 15 schools attending the game. Paul Fagan (0-0) gets the start for the Crushers against Ryan Sheldon (1-0).
