Duct Tape, Parade and Miss America: What a Weekend!

The eighth annual Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival brought out duct tape fans from local organizations to Miss America.

Fun uses of the product made by Avon-based ShurTech were all over the place, from the sporting items showing this year's "Real Fans Stick Together" theme to Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan's own creations.

Best of Show:  A Bride's Design

Best Adherence to Theme: Home Depot

Most Colorful: Cub Scouts Pack 333

Best Use of Duct Tape: Avon Baptist Church

Most Creative: Another 4-H Club

Best Team Spirit: Discovery Church
