Five Things You Should Know This Week
Special council meeting about flooding, paczki and fish fries are on this week's agenda.

- Sunday's your last chance to see production of "Little Shop of Horrors." There's a 2 p.m. matinee.
- A special meeting of the legal and services committees of Avon  will be held at 6:15 p.m. Monday in  to discuss what the city should do after Monday's flooding that had several homes end up with raw sewage in their basement.
- Mardi Gras is Tuesday. You know what that means. Paczki! Expect the usual long lines at paczki paradises like Kiedrowski's in Amherst. Oh, but it's worth it.
- Ash Wednesday follows Mardi Gras. will have Mass at 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. will have Mass at 8 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- And if it's Lent, it's time for the Friday fish fry. Holy Trinity will hold its fish fry from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Holy Trinity gymnasium each Friday during Lent. Options include lake perch, baked fish, shrimp and pierogi with prices ranging from $8 to $13. You can eat there or do take-out. St. Mary is also planning to do a fish fry.
