Here We Snow Again

Winter storm warning issued

Updated 8:00 a.m. Thursday for new weather advisories.

Just as area residents are getting over Monday's  that wreaked havoc on the roads, downed trees and power lines, and caused to be closed on Tuesday because the , we're getting another blast of winter.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a winter storm warning for all of northern Ohio, from the Indiana state line to the Pennsylvania state line, beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday and running through 4 p.m. Friday

According to the National Weather Service, the storm will start as rain during the day on Thursday. But then colder air comes in, and it will change to snow. There may also be a period of sleet or freezing rain.

By Friday afternoon, when the watch is currently set to expire, we could have 4 to 8 inches of snow. Avon Patch will keep you informed as things develop.
