Lake Erie Crushers To Host Youth Baseball Camps In Avon
The minor league baseball teams will host two sessions this summer at Mercy Health Stadium. Crushers players and coaches will participate.

AVON, OH —The Lake Erie Crushers, a minor league baseball team based in Avon, have announced they will host youth baseball camps this summer for players between the ages of 6 years old and 14 years old.
The three-day camps will take place at the team's Mercy Health Stadium, 2009 Baseball Boulevard, and feature Crushers players and members of the team's coaching staff serving as instructors.
There will be two sessions offered: the first is June 27-29 and the second is August 1-3. For both sessions, the camp will last from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the opening day and from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the second and third days.

The camp costs $195 for a single camper. But campers who register as part of a team —five campers or more —get a special team price of $180. Registration is available on the Crushers website.
In addition to three days of baseball instructions from Crushers players and staff, campers will receive a camp jersey, lunch on all three days and a home box ticket voucher to a future Crushers regular-season game. Campers also will be recognized on the field at a Crushers game.

The Crushers play in the independent Frontier League and are scheduled to begin their season on May 13 with a home game against the Quebec-based Trois-Rivieres Aigles. The first pitch is at 7 p.m.
