     An Introduction to Facebook and Twitter will be provided during a program, Tuesday, July 24 at 6 p.m. at the Avon Branch Library. Learn the very basics about these popular social networking websites, including an overview of what they consist of, how to create accounts and how to keep yourself and your children safe in these online environments. Online Job Searching And Resumes PROGRAM

     An Online Job Searching and Resumes program will be held, Thursday, July 26 at 1 p.m. at the Avon Branch Library. Participants will be shown a variety of online resources available for job hunters; will receive samples of resumes and instruction in techniques for composing and saving resumes as well as emailing resumes as attachments or inputting resume information to websites. Excel For Beginners PROGRAM

      An Excel For Beginners program will be held, Monday, July 30 at 3 p.m. at the Avon Branch Library. Learn about the basics of using the 2007 edition of Microsoft Excel to set up a spreadsheet workbook and about free, online tutorials that allow learning and review of more complex Microsoft Excel operations. Participants need to be comfortable using a mouse to attend. Class size is limited. Preregistration is required by calling the Avon Branch Library at 440-934-4743.
