Miners Pound Crushers, 15-4

Home has not been sweet for the of late.

The Crushers (7-14) lost to the Southern Illinois Miners, 15-4, Sunday evening at to be swept in the three-game series.

The loss was the fourth straight for the Crushers, while the Miners improved to 15-6.

According to the box score provided by the Crushers, the Miners started piling on the runs early, getting six runs in the first. Crushers pitcher Greg Hendrix (0-2) lasted just two innings and was charged with the loss.

The Crushers open a three-game series at 7:05 p.m. Monday against the Traverse City Beach Bums. Josh Roberts (2-2, 5.40 earned run average) gets the start for the Crushers.
