Rita Mae Mitchell (nee Kowalski), 82, of Avon Lake, died May 29, 2012. She was born on Nov.  10, 1929.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Ed Jr. (Dee), Dale (Linda), Terry (Kathleen), Jeff (Debra), Larry (Barb), the late Suzanne and the late Linda Louise Mitchell; grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of eight; dear sister of Marian Kral and Ken Kowalski; niece of the late Helen Colley.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 2 at , 32929 Lake Rd. Avon Lake.
