Unlocked Car Stolen From Outside Avon Lake Home

The keys to the car were left inside the vehicle overnight, according to police.

AVON LAKE, OH — Another unlocked car was stolen from outside a home in Avon Lake this week, according to police reports obtained by Patch.

On Monday, a resident on Long Cove discovered their 2021 Dodge Charger was missing from the driveway. The car had been left unlocked overnight, with the keys inside, the police report said.

Investigators interviewed the car's owner and several neighbors to the property.
