Construction on a busy Beachwood road is one step closer to beginning after City Council approved a $1.3 million bid at Monday's meeting. Fabrizi Trucking and Paving Company will begin the project in late May, but a specific date has not yet been set. Work will take place between Hendon Road and Fairmount Boulevard, extending through the intersection at Fairmount to the driveway. The project will replace the pavement and widen Richmond Road from the driveway to Fairmount. Beachwood Patch has a map of all three project slated for this summer that we have updated regularly throughout the process.
