The Beachwood Bison Athletic Boosters raised nearly $38,000 from their Oct. 6 Night at the Races, organizer and Board of Education member Josh Mintz said. The event, which included dinner from the Beachwood-hosted Excel TECC culinary arts program, horse races and a silent auction, had over 360 attendees, Mintz added.
