Beachwood City Schools Handbook, Bus Routes Approved

The Beachwood unanimously approved new busing routes and all five schools' handbooks for the 2012-2013 school year at Monday's meeting.

The busing routes reflect an improvement in the lines of communication between the administration and the busing staff, said Superintendent Rich Markwardt. "This year will go vastly smoother that last year," he said, adding that the district is preparing for glitches as the drivers and students get used to the new routes.

The plan consolidates the middle and high school routes and changes the arrival and dismissal times at most of the schools.
