Beachwood will soon see a new business hotel near its business district along Chagrin Boulevard. InterContinental Hotels will "re-image" one wing of the on Chagrin Boulevard to make it a 100-room Hotel Indigo. The Clarion's 127 rooms will be reduced to 73. Each hotel, though located in the same building, will have its own entrance. The building's will not change. ICH operates Clarion, Indigo, the Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and other hotel lines. A representative from the hotel told the Planning and Zoning Commission that it is unusual for the two hotels to be located in the same building. The commission voted unanimously to approve the site plan for the changes. Another business hotel — Aloft —
