passed an amendment to an ordinance that regulates fees for police-ordered towing at Monday's meeting. The change allows companies to charge $90 plus $12 per day for storage for most vehicles to catch up with state standards, which increased late last year. Previously tows were $70 and storage was $8 per day. For for trucks, buses and tractors over 10,000 pounds, the charges are $150 for a tow and $12 per day for storage. The ordinance passed unanimously.
