City Council unanimously approves measure to take over dispatch operations for Pepper Pike

Beachwood City Council unanimously approved at this week's meeting.

The three-person department will be moved to Beachwood Aug. 1, according to the agreement, with the three employees from Pepper Pike being given preference for three new positions in the 's dispatch center. Pepper Pike will cover the cost of the extra staff at $20,000 per month.
