Board of Education meets at 7:30 a.m. in special meeting Wednesday

The Beachwood City Schools will meet Wednesday in a special meeting to vote on the appointment of Edward Klein as the next high school principal.

Superintendent Rich Markwardt will recommended Klein, who works as asisstant principal at Euclid High School, for the job. It was announced earlier this month that he was one of two finalists for the spot, along with retired Mentor High School principal Joe Spiccia.

The two candidates met with staff and students, the community and the Board in the past couple weeks, and each group was given an opportunity to question the candidates.
