Business reports employee theft of $1,200

Tuesday, Oct. 2, 12:58 p.m. — The owner of a Mercantile Road company reported that he suspects a former employee of stealing $1,254 of merchandise.

Woman charged with shoplifting makeup

Tuesday, Oct. 2, 12:56 p.m. — A woman was arrested at Sephora at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with shoplifting seven items of makeup valued at $149.

Woman charged with shoplifting children’s clothing

Tuesday, Oct. 2, 6:05 p.m. — A woman was arrested at Dillards and charged with stealing after a store clerk said she was seen entering the dressing room with items and then coming out without them. Police reported that they found four pieces of stolen children’s clothing totaling $137 on her.
