Beachwood City Council passed an ordinance to regulate electronic signs in the city at Monday's meeting. The ordinance prohibits electronic signs to be turned on between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. and dictates how long one message should stay on.   and the  also have these signs. It also regulates the intensity of the light and that the electronic display cannot be more than 80 percent of the total area of the sign. The ordinance passed unanimously.
