Five local teens have been named in the top 24 of 1,800 entries for the Stop the Hate essay contest. Jonah M. Firestone, Christina Phelps and Scott Remer, of , Seema Kazen of and Naja Aramenta Jean Davis, a Laurel High School student who lives in Beachwood are eligible for $100,000 in prizes and scholarships. The group will be narrowed down to ten students who will compete for three college scholarships with oral presentations April 22 at Severence Hall.
