Local grocers took Frosted Mini-Wheats and Mini-Wheats off the shelves today after Kellogg's and the FDA announced a recall of the cereal. Some pieces of the cereal manufactured between April and September of this year were discovered to have fragments of wire mesh from faulty equipment. No serious injuries have been reported as a result of the cereal. Check your shelves for the affected cereal — the only cereal affected are those boxes with KB, AP or FK before or after the Best If Used Before date.
