
Oh, high school.
That's me in the photo, holding the duster. After an unfortunate incident (my date getting caught sneaking out one week before my senior prom - not my fault!) I was left dateless — and it was the first dance I'd bought a dress for, so I wasn't about to let it go to waste.
So, of course, I dressed up a duster in a mullet wig, sunglasses and the red bow tie from my Steak n' Shake uniform and took him to prom. He was so well-loved that he became three of my friends' date, too.

But by the end of the night, we had forgotten about him — we were having such a good time with each other — and didn't even notice when some kid in our class stole him to be funny. (If I remember correctly, he didn't even have a mop for a date.)
