Man Drives Car Through His Own Garage

Police say a man drove his car through his own garage.

A Shakercrest Boulevard resident called police last week after she saw a car drive through her neighbor’s garage. When arrived, they found that the elderly driver who drove his car through the garage was the homeowner.

He was not seriously injured, said police, but was checked out at the hospital. No one else was hurt in the crash.

The incident occurred just after 10 p.m. on July 30.

A gas line ruptured at the home and gas workers shut off the gas to the home for repairs. 

Police did not charge the man with any crime.
