Ohio Board of Education Recognizes Several Cuyahoga County Schools

A number of Cuyahoga County schools were winners of this major award Ohio Board of Education.

The first All A Awards have been given to select Ohio schools by the Ohio Board of Education for getting all A's on their 2014-2015 state report cards.

A number of Cuyahoga County schools were winners of this major award. Beachwood High and Bryden Elementary schools in Beachwood; Brecksville-Broadview Heights, Chagrin Falls, Cuyahoga Heights and Independence high schools; Abraham Lincoln Elementary School in Maple Heights; Orange and Rocky River high schools; and Arthur Road Elementary, Orchard Middle, Parkside Elementary and Solon High schools in Solon were All A Award winners, reports Cleveland.com.

Additionally, the Ohio school board also gave Momentum Awards to schools which exceeded expectations with regard to student growth.

"This (All A) award is affirmation of our commitment to providing the educational support needed to help every student perform to his or her capability," Joseph Mueller, principal of Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School, told cleveland.com.
