A man was arrested after police said he left two small children in the car while he went into the Roderick Davenport, 50, from Buffalo, NY, was charged with endangering children after a mall patron reported that the kids had been alone in the car for about ten minutes on June 25 at around 4:49 p.m. Police did not release the ages of the two children. The officer who responded reported that the car was warm inside, but "not extremely hot."
