Police: Suspected Drunken Assailant Flees Scene in Car

Police say a man whose blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit assaulted his girlfriend at the and then got into his car and drove away.
Police arrested the man near the Clarion Hotel and charged him with domestic violence, drunken driving, running a red light, speeding and causing a disturbance.

The victim reported the incident to police and then the suspect left the scene in his car. Police found a vehicle matching her description and performed a traffic stop.
