When  got a 9-1-1 call-and-hang-up from a Beachwood home last week, they showed up at the front door to make sure everything was ok. What they found was four unsupervised children, ages 3, 5, 8 and 10. The mother was charged with endangering children. I have three younger siblings — one who is nine years younger — so baby-sitting was second nature from an early age. In fact, I remember getting a baby-sitting license from the Red Cross when I was 12 — and wondering why I needed a piece of paper when I already baby-sat all the time. We want to know what you think: is it ok to leave a 10-year-old alone? An 11-year-old? How old should kids be before they can be left responsible for other children?
