Work on Richmond Road is nearly halfway finished, said Beachwood staff engineer Tom Kreczko at Monday's council meeting. The two western lanes between Hendon Road and Fairmount Boulevard have been closed since May while workers replace the pavement and widen Richmond Road. Fairmount Boulevard is closed at Richmond Road, and traffic is not permitted to make left turns onto Hendon. This will continue until the end of the project, expected to be in mid-August. Tuesday or Wednesday, traffic will move to the new western lanes and crews will begin work on the eastern lanes, Kreczko said. The project extends from the  driveway to
