On Monday night, the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Education Association and the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Organization of Support Staff offered up an idea to the Board of Education: Give up your right to impose a contract and we’ll give up our right to strike, they said.
Teachers and staff members gathered at the district’s , chanting and displaying signs that read, “Sign the Pledge!” As of 6 p.m. on Monday, Board President David Tryon had not seen the proposal, but said the board would take it under advisement.
