Pay-to-Participate Fees and Financial Overviews: On the School Board Agenda

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education will meet Tuesday evening in the auditorium. This meeting was rescheduled from July 23. Here are a few items on the agenda to note:

• There will be two executive sessions, which are closed to the public. The first will be at the start of the meeting. The meeting begins at 6:15 p.m., but the board is scheduled to enter into executive session minutes later. The regular meeting will resume at 7 p.m.
• The second executive session will begin at the end of the meeting. According to the agenda, the board will be discussing matters of negotiations in this session.
• There will be a discussion of the financial reports for June, the last month of the previous fiscal year. The new fiscal year began at the beginning of July.
• The board will discuss and vote on a variety of issues, such as the proposed rates for this year’s pay-to-participate fees for and students. The fees for the high school range from $15 for the Art and Key clubs to $750 for varsity girls volleyball.
