School Board to Meet Monday Night

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Monday in the auditorium.

The board will first enter into an executive session, which is closed to the public. According to the agenda, they will then vote on some personnel recommendations. The recommendations were not available on the district’s website, but a copy of the agenda is. The recommendations typically deal with hirings, resignations and recalls.

The , often from members of the teachers and staff unions who want to share their concerns in the negotiations process. At the meeting in June, News Channel 5 reports that hundreds of teachers filled the small room in the district’s education center. The meeting was moved to the high school.
