Schools’ Renewal Levy on the Ballot in One Week

The renewal levy raises about $5.2 million for the district each year, and the majority of that goes to the general operating fund. This renewal levy makes up close to 10 percent of the district’s operating fund.

Here are some important dates to remember from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections’ website:

• Aug. 3 is the last day to at the board office.
• Aug. 4 is the last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot. This must be done by noon.
• Aug. 6 is the last day to send in your . It must be postmarked by Aug. 6.
• Aug. 7 is Election Day. Interested voters can check their registration, find their polling place and look at a sample ballot on the board’s website.
