Several Traffic Stops, Marijuana Charges in Brecksville

The past couple weeks have seen several traffic stops lead to marijuana charges in Brecksville.
Most of them were on Interstate 77.

- A 20-year-old Richfield man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after officers found two marijuana pipes in his pocket following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 12:30 p.m. Feb. 22.
- A 39-year-old Bedford man was charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on I-77 near Oakes Road at around 11 p.m. Feb. 22. He was also charged with a turn signal violation and driving with an invalid drivers license.Â
- A 26-year-old Broadview Heights man was charged with marijuana after officers found a bag of pot following a traffic stop near State Route 82 and US Route 21 at around 7:45 p.m. Feb. 24.
- A 32-year-old Warren man was charged with driving under suspension and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on I-77 near Royalton Road at around 8 p.m. Feb. 27.Â
- A 32-year-old Cleveland woman was charged with possession of marijuana after speeding on I-77 at around 2 p.m. March 1. Police also found open bottles of beer. The woman was also charged with open container; as was a passenger in the vehicle. A third passenger — a 28-year-old Cleveland man — was charged with possession of marijuana. A fourth passenger — a 32-year-old Euclid woman — was taken to Fairview Park to face a warrant.
