Thunderstorm Warning Expired, Rain Expected to Continue

Update, 11:30 a.m. The severe thunderstorm warning for Cuyahoga County expired as of 11 a.m., but Brecksville is still expected to see showers and storms early this afternoon. The original post follows:

The National Weather Service has declared a severe thunderstorm warning for Cuyahoga County. The warning lasts until 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Brecksville is not listed as a city near the path of the morning’s strong storm, but the service is predicting rain for the area for the early afternoon. According to the service, Brecksville has the strongest chance of showers or storms from 12 to 1 p.m. There is also a chance of rain tonight or tomorrow.
