Stay Cool in the Summer Heat

The heat wave is expected to cool off soon.

With temperatures reaching the low 90s in Brecksville today, keeping cool is important.

The Ohio Department of Health has a page full of tips for people to follow. Here are just a few:

  • Stay well hydrated—don’t just drink if you’re thirsty. And avoid alcohol and caffeine.
  • If you’re going to be outside, try to plan for the morning or evening, when it’s cooler.
  • Keep an eye on both kids and pets. Children may not realize that they’re getting too hot. And pets can’t tell you!
