- The Brecksville-Broadview Heights teachers and staff unions held a : the unions want the school board to give up its right to impose a contract. In exchange, they would give up their right to strike. “The pledge,” as the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Education Association and Organization of Support Staff are calling it, would last until a new contract was signed. There has been no news from the school board on the proposal yet.
