Two Injured in Crash at Route 21, Miller Road

They were each taken to separate area hospitals with unreported injuries, however, they were both wearing their seatbelts and both of their airbags were deployed.

A two-car crash at the intersection of Miler Road and Route 21 left two people injured at around 4:30 p.m. March 2.

According to the police report, an 80-year-old man was traveling south on Route 21 at about 45 mph and a 22-year-old was attempting to turn left onto Miller Road. She drove in front of the southbound vehicle, pushing her car across two lanes of traffic and onto curb.

The man, from Richfield, claimed to have had a green light, while the woman, a Brecksville resident, said she had a green arrow.

Both vehicles were towed, with “severe damage” reported.

The woman was cited for failure to yield.
