Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:
- Broadwayβs 'Hamilton' is returning to Cincinnati for a four-week stint. Tickets are on sale now and range from $59-$179 with a select number of premium tickets from $249. (Cincinnati CityBeat)
- A local group is bringing music industry leaders to Cincinnati this week. On Aug. 26 (tomorrow) and Aug. 27, Ohioβs first music career accelerator, Cincinnati Music Accelerator, will be hosting City Sound Summit at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Features of the event include discussions with various industry leaders, high-profile music producers, and artists, including keynote speaker and Cincinnati native ClockworkDJ; Nemo Achida, a producer, songwriter, creative advisor for Jack Harlow; and multi-platinum music producer SuperStar O. - A class action lawsuit has been filed against Kia and Hyundai after a number of car thefts. Cincinnati attorneys filed the lawsuit, claiming the companies are manufacturing vehicles that are knowingly easy to steal. The lawsuit was filed by five people, including two in Cincinnati, and states that "unlike most vehicles, the Class Vehicles are not equipped with an "immobilizer" preventing them from being started unless a code is transmitted from the Vehicle's specific smart key."
