Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:
- Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week returns in September - and now itβs offering a new set of deals for hungry customers. From Sep. 19 through Sep. 25, restaurant goers can enjoy a three-course prix fixe meal for $26, $36, or $46 from participating locations. Over 40 restaurants throughout the Greater Cincinnati area will be participating, with more expected to sign up in the coming weeks. (WCPO 9 Cincinnati)
- A new protocol has been put in place for Cincinnati 911 centers. 911 operators will now have a script not only for medical emergencies, but for fire department responses as well. Officials hope that providing a script for operators will result in faster response times as part of a nationwide initiative. (WVXU)
- Riverfest may be the most famous Labor Day event in Cincinnati, but donβt let that fool you - there are tons of other exciting activities and events going on this weekend throughout the area. Families can explore history and have some medieval fun at the Ohio Renaissance Festival, while music fans can chill out and enjoy some great tunes at the Cincinnati International Jazz Festival. For those that are already counting down the days until Halloween, thereβs even a Terror Town sure to tide them over! (The Cincinnati Enquirer)
