• Man arrested after asking responding Cleveland Heights officer if he had to slap him and making threats (cleveland.com) — Cleveland Heights police arrested a 24-year-old man on a menacing charge after he allegedly threatened and challenged an officer who responded to his welfare-check call at an apartment on Noble Road. The man, who had been drinking, reportedly made repeated threats and resisted surrendering his phone in jail, while the resident later told officers she’d been drinking and that he has an unspecified mental diagnosis.
