The Emily Program Hosts Free Virtual Support Sessions for Families and Friends in Ohio
Free monthly sessions offer education, resources, and community support for loved ones affected by eating disorders in Ohio.

Caring for someone with an eating disorder can be a difficult journey. It often brings up questions, uncertainty, and a need for resources that go beyond medical treatment alone. For caregivers, The Emily Program in Columbus offers Friends and Family Sessions free, virtual gatherings open to the public twice a month.
The sessions are designed to give family members and friends a space to learn, ask questions, and connect with others who understand the challenges of supporting someone through recovery. Participants will gain practical information about eating disorders and recovery, along with strategies for offering meaningful, compassionate support.
“Families are such an important part of the recovery journey,” said Sarah Bergen, Regional Medical Director at The Emily Program in Ohio. “These sessions provide education, community, and most importantly the reminder that no one has to walk this path alone.”
