Belle Haven Elementary is once again partnering with City Connects to provide support to students this school year. City Connects provides a full-time coordinator based in the school building to connect families and students with services in the community. The coordinator then follows up to make sure families are getting the support they need.
Last year, our coordinator visited homes, provided technical support for virtual learning and helped eliminate barriers that would have impacted the learning process for students. For example, the coordinator made sure families had meals and other resources that helped students attend school every day.

This year, our coordinator will create a personalized support plan for each student. Services might address physical, emotional, cognitive or social development needs.
