2 Harassing Callers Tie Up Phone, Get Mean: Police Blotter
The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

Two people complained about harassing callers in separate incidents.
A Cleveland-Massillon Road man told police Aug. 20 that every three or four months, he gets a call from the same man representing the Ohio Chiefs of Police Association.
When the resident declines to donate, the man gets upset, says mean things and hangs up.
This time, the resident recognized the callers voice and hung up on him before he could start his pitch, then went to police for help identifying the caller, whose number comes up restricted.
In the other incident, a collection agency called Red Lobster repeatedly Aug. 23 to ask for an employee who allegedly owes money, tying up the restaurant's phone lines.
An officer took one of the calls and told the man to stop calling the business.
The employee said he gets a few calls a week ever since he tried to apply for a loan online. He provided personal information, but didn't complete the process.
He does not owe money, he said. Bath police told him to follow up with the police department where he lives.
