5 Things to Know about Bath Community Day

Township's annual festival runs all day Aug. 3

Here are some things you won't want to miss at Bath Community Day on Saturday, Aug. 3.

1. The event kicks off at 7:30 a.m. with a pancake breakfast at Bath Church, 3980 W. Bath Rd., sponsored by the Bath Homeowners' Association. The breakfast, which includes pancakes, sausage, coffee and orange juice, runs till 11 a.m.

2. The parade starts at 11 a.m., marching along Cleveland-Massillon Road from Ira Road, at Ken Stewart's Lodge, to Bath Elementary School on Bath Road.

3. From noon to 5 p.m., visitors can find contests, games, music by the Swizzle Sticks Band, food, inflatable rides and booths at the Bath Community Activity Center.

4. Other than the pancake breakfast, the fun is all free.

5. Special activities include firefighter water fights, a Coke and Mentos contest, kids' crafts, kids' carnival games, the Best Pooch contest and a wacky planter contest.
