A 2012 Graduate with Honors: Daniel Li

Leading up to graduation, we'll feature the and seniors who will be speaking at commencement. On the day of graduation, we'll feature their profiles again, as well as publish their speeches. Both schools graduate on June 3 at 2 p.m.

This profile is on Revere High School co-salutatorian Daniel Li. Daniel is heading off to Duke University to study biomedical engineering/pre-med.

Daniel: All my friends and teachers. They've been great and very supportive these last four years.

P: What are you looking forward to in moving on to college?

D: Making new friends who have similar interests and attending basketball games.

P: What advice would you give to underclassmen?

D: Work hard, study hard and do your best at school. Explore other subjects and extracurriculars and take advantage of the high school experience.

P: What was your favorite high school class?

D: Math

P: What clubs or extracurriculars were you involved in?

D: Math Honor Society, National Honor Society, I ran cross country for three years, I played tennis all four years, Science Olympiad, Academic Challenge, Chess Club and Ecology Club.

P: What are some of your high school accomplishments?

D: I had above a 4.0 GPA all four years, I was on the Science Olympiad Team that place overall fourth in the state and I earned individual medals. I was also on the tennis team which tied for first place in the suburban league.

P: Tell us a fun fact about you.

D: I perform well in wasabi eating contests and I have ability to avoid eye contact at all costs.
