Alan Papa begins his new role as president of Akron General Medical Center on Jan. 31. Previously he was president and chief operating officer of Mt. Carmel-West, one of five Trinity Health hospitals in the greater Columbus area.
Before that, he was Akron General Health System's Senior Vice President of Network Services and Operations for more than eight years.
