Children from Allison Chrien's after-school knitting classes at and primary schools produced enough quilt blocks this year to produce four blankets. Herberich students (pictured here) donated two blankets made from their squares to Summit County Children Services.
On Thursday, Arrowhead students will donate their blankets to Copley Township Police. The department will hold a raffle for the blankets and donate proceeds to the department's Share-a-Christmas program.
Blankets from the winning raffle tickets, if marked "donate" as many have in the past, will also be donated to Children Services.
