Grace Church in Bath Township is Church of the Year

The Bath campus of _ of Greater Akron has been chosen from 265 Grace Brethren churches as the denomination's Church of the Year. The Bath campus church is part of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches_.

Grace Brethren church in Bath was started in 2000 with about 140 members from the Norton Grace Brethren campus. Last Easter, the Bath campus welcomed 3,600 for Easter services.

The award is given to churches that are growing, evangelizing and serving the community, said Grace Church Pastor _Jeff Bogue_.

Grace Church Programs include:

•  Mission work in inner city Akron, Africa, Haiti and Mexico
•  Hospital construction in Chad
•  Church Construction in Mexico City
•  Feed My Starving Children: a program that will send 500,000 meals to Haiti and Africa
