Ohio University Student from Copley Wins Engineering Team Award

Ohio University engineering student Kyle Royer, of Copley, worked on a class project that has won a national award for design.

Royer is a 2007 graduate of He and four other students designed a pump that is used in soft drink machines that increased profitability and use for employees with disabilities.

The group, and a company that fabricated the new machine shared a $10,000 grant.  The students placed first in the NISH (AbilityOne) competition. The university engineering program also received $10,000.
