Bath Administrator Hires Executive Assistant

The Bath Township Trustees approved hiring Hanna Krumheuer at Monday's meeting.

Hanna Krumheuer, a graduate of Kent State University, has taken the helm as Bath Township Administrator Bill Snow's executive assistant. Bath Trustees approved the hiring Monday.

Krumheuer takes the place of former executive assistant Helen Humphrys, who retired on Dec. 31. Humphrys still works as a trustee in Copley Township, Snow said.

Krumheuer will earn $40,000 per year and after a one-year probationary period, that her salary will increase by $3,000, a one-time increase.

After Humphrys retired, Snow said 53 people applied for the job. Each applicant went through a rigorous interview process, and the list was whittled down. The final applicants were asked to create a PowerPoint presentation that showed how they would effectively manage projects and explained why they wanted the job.

The decision was tough, Snow said, but the clear choice was Krumheuer.

The Canal Fulton native tested well in all areas, including technology and typing skills, Snow said. Her first day on the job was Monday.

"I look forward to working with you all and serving Bath Township to the best of my ability," Krumheuer smiled.
